These are also the items where US retail markup is most absurd relative to what the thing is — moulded acrylic and injection-moulded ABS. We source them from the same Chinese factories at factory price plus a flat 5%, and because they are small and light they consolidate beautifully into a bed or trolley shipment instead of shipping on their own.
Worth knowing: acrylic quality varies more than the photos suggest. Thin, brittle acrylic cracks at the slot edges within a few months of daily use. That is exactly the kind of thing our macro inspection is for — we photograph edge thickness and finish before it ships.
